Artistic Purpose

To ask students to create an artwork without an artistic purpose (as opposed to a student purpose) is akin to teaching only for the purpose of helping students to pass a standardized test.

My Problem With the Grit Movement (And How We Can Fix It)

Some great ideas for goal setting strategies! I would love to see these built into the design of an art class! My guess… We would watch learning, work quality, and enrollment grow right before our eyes.
